Samsung Frame TV and the BillionDollarArtGallery

Modified on Mon, Apr 29 at 9:43 PM

IMPORTANT: Both the FAT32 and NTFS-formatted BillionDollarArtGallery work in the Samsung Frame. However, they must be in the HDD USB port.

The Samsung Frame has two USB ports. See image below. The left one is labeled 5V 0.5A and the center USB port is labeled HDD because it functions like a Hard Disk Drive. The stick will display a directory in the left port, but it will NOT read the files. The HDD port WILL read the files. You can Select all files and Play them when either FAT32 or NTFS BillionDollarArtGallery port is inserted in the HDD port. Neither stick will function correctly in the 5V 0.5A port.

To play the BillionDollarArtGallery video:

Use the original Samsung Remote, NOT the cable remote. Cable companies would prefer that you NOT watch content on your USB port. The Samsung Remote is pictured below.

Tap the HOME button (the image of the house in the center.)

Tap LEFT (the left side of the circular directional button around the round button.)

Tap DOWN (the bottom of the circular directional button) to Connected Devices.

Choose the Flash Disk by tapping the Select button

Use the directional circle to highlight the BillionDollarArtGallery Video, and then tap the SELECT button.

This launches the video.
