Hitachi TVs and the BillionDollarArtGallery

Hitachi TVs are somewhat difficult to support because Hitachi has left the TV business: only the Hitachi brand survives.

The Hitachi owner manuals are not available on the Hitachi site, but you can scroll through an online manual here:

The remote control on page 12 shows that the Hitachi TV is a Roku-powered TV, which means that the way to display videos is to use the Roku Media app.

In the Roku apps on a Roku TV, choose the Media Player.

The easiest way to play the BillionDollarArtGallery is to choose Video:

Choose the USB DISK

Choose the file called 0000 Video Billio…. (We call it 0000, so the video file appears at the top of every file menu.)

Choose Play from beginning or, if you have already been using the BillionDollarArtGallery, choose Resume.

The BillionDollarArtGallery will play along with music and captions, which appear a few seconds after a painting is displayed.
