New for 2024: Directory of Paintings that fill the screen

In 2024, the BillionDollarArtGallery will be available with a directory of paintings that have been cropped to fill the full screen. This is in response to customers who want something to make their TV more attractive and also to users of the Samsung Frame TV, which tends to exhibit art cropped for the full screen.

IMPORTANT NOTE

If you love art, you would probably not consider full-screen, cropped paintings the genuine article. Painters have never painted for TVs (though they may soon.) da Vinci's Mona Lisa displays only the face when cropped for a full-screen TV. However, we have done our best to include wider paintings that do not require the severe cropping of a portrait like the Mona Lisa.

Are Full Screen Paintings the same paintings in the BillionDollarArtGallery?

Some are, but we have also drawn on wider paintings from Great Art for Kids, and the forthcoming BillionDollarArtGallery 2.  Of the 500 Full Screen paintings, about 400 are not included in the original BillionDollarArtGallery.

Is there a video for the Full Screen, Cropped Paintings?

No. The cropped paintings are designed to play as a slideshow or to load into a Samsung Frame TV. 

2024 File Structure

You will find the full screen paintings in their own directory. Grouping by directory makes it easy for customers to repeat whichever content they prefer. For example, you can repeat the main video in the root directory or repeat all the full-screen paintings in the Full Screen Cropped directory.

Where is this available?

The new software is available on January 1, 2024 from our website. Distributors are receiving new products, but may continue to sell through existing inventory.
