To access content on your USB port, you will need your TV's remote control. (Your cable company only wants you to watch their streaming TV, so they do not support other media on your TV.)
If you no longer have your remote control, you can find a replacement on a service like Amazon.com For example, if you search Amazon for a Samsung 2015 remote for its J6200 series, you will find this remote for about $6 as of this writing:
