Can I leave the BillionDollarArtGallery in my TV?

Yes, you can leave the BillionDollarArtGallery stick in your TV.

Leaving the BillionDollarArtGallery in your TV will not damage the TV or the stick.

This will damage the stick:
Pulling the stick out without "ejecting" it.

TVs and computers require that users "eject" the stick before physically removing it. If you pull out the memory stick without telling the TV or computer that you are about to remove the stick (called "ejecting"), you can sometimes – but not always – delete the files on the stick. This is the main reason that BillionDollarArtGalleries are sometimes erased. If this happens to you, please return your stick to the BillionDollarArtGallery, and we will refresh it at no charge.

How to Eject a BillionDollarArtGallery from a TV

All TVs have slightly different software. Please refer to your TV's manual for the exact procedure. Many manuals are online in our TV section. Here is a sample procedure for an LG OLED TV:

Ejecting a memory stick in Windows

  • Right-click on the drive letter.
  • Choose Eject
  • The drive letter disappears.
  • Remove the memory stick.
